Character History: After floating around aimlessly for years after two very unsuccessful semesters at community college, Brad decided that the only option left open to him was to join the army. It is there that he met Jack Kaneshiro. They went through boot camp together and forged a very tight friendship. Once they moved on to their individual assignments they went their separate ways, but kept in touch as often as possible. Brad excelled at all aspects of the job, and advanced quickly through the ranks. He did two tours in Iraq and was awarded multiple times for his bravery and skill. This caught the attention of his superiors who volunteered him for an experimental procedure that would “enhance his abilities”. He doesn’t remember anything after that except for waking up in his hometown of Chicago (Wicker Park to be exact) with no memory of the past year.

Character History: Violet was a troubled youth. Came from a broken home, placed in foster care at the age of 8 and bounced from one foster family to the next due to her rebellious attitude. At the age of 16 she joined a crude punk rock band called “Assface Blaster” as the lead singer. The band went nowhere and she was left directionless once again. After high school she left home and made her own way on her own terms. Got a job
as a sanitation engineer (garbage collector) for the city of Chicago, continued to pursue her love of punk rock and one day dreams of managing a punk band of her own. During one such endeavor, due to a total lack of judgment, she stole a large amount of money from a band she was attempting to work with. Turns out the band was comprised of vampires and have a large following of creatures of the night. They put a mark on her head that she has been trying to run away from ever since.

Character History: Once he left Sunnydale for good, Oz traveled the world looking for a place that would accept him for what he is... a werewolf. Having trained in Tibet to keep the monster inside under control, he isn't a threat unless under severe emotional distress. In his travels he met a person by the name of Jasper King, who took him under his wing like a son. Vowing to return the kindness showed to him by this complete stranger, he took it upon himself to help people afflicted with lycanthropy. After training dozens of people who have been cursed like himself, he has come to Chicago, at the insistence of Jasper, to help someone named Liam Grey.
