Character History: Joined the Army right out of HS. Became a combat medic and was shipped out to Iraq. Did one tour of duty which has left his emotionally scarred due to an unfortunate incident he was responsible for. Was honorably discharged and returned to Chicago where he took a job as a paramedic. Has slowly descended into the pit of alcoholism and the only thing that keeps him going is the saving of lives everyday. Is currently baffled by the death of a person he was trying to save... there was nothing wrong with her, she just died.
